Gretna BMX Raceway Inc. is ran by The Parent Riders Association. We are a 100% all volunteer group, that is committed to Gretna BMX Raceway, and promoting the sport of BMX Racing.
We encourage any and all riders over 18 and, or parents of kids under 18 to join the Parent Riders Association. We meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at Shoney's Restaurant in Gretna, La.. Shoney's is located on the Westbank Expressway at the corner of Lafayette St.
Dues are only $5.00 for the entire year, and annual renewal membership is due by March of every year. With your paid annual membership, you will have a voting right as a member of Gretna BMX Raceway. Any, and all decisions on Gretna BMX Raceway are made at our Parent Rider Meeting. All decisions are made by proxy voting. So we encourage you to attend our meeting, get involved, and help us make decisions on Gretna BMX Raceway. Remember this is not my track, but our track, and all we are all are focused on the same goals for Gretna BMX Raceway. That is to be the Greatest Track in the South.
Nominations for Executive Committee Members, and Standing Committee Members will be in October of every year, (see by-laws) and Elections will be held in November of every year. With a minimum of 5 attended meeting per year, you can run for election at Gretna BMX Raceway Parent Riders Association.
We encourage you to get involved in your track, and help us make Gretna BMX Raceway - THE GREATEST TRACK IN THE SOUTH
